Hostile Egyptian Forces Invade Arizona

In an entirely unexpected and improbable act of hostility, a Nile Crocodile called Samson took up residence in Territorial Governor Jackson Menkes's swimming pool on the very day when the Governor was to hold a barbecue and swim party for the citizens of Tombstone in celebration of independence day!

Due to the brave actions of the Governor and much squealing and fainting on the part of Miss Kitty Doxie, Samson was dispatched post-haste, but it remains to be seen whether the pool will be sufficiently cleaned prior to the start of the planned festivities. [12:09] Nicolette Charpentier (nicolettera) taps Sadie on the shoulder and makes gesture toward Sonora

[12:09] Sadie Hiker (magentastormcrow) nods with a sigh

[12:13] Nicolette Charpentier (nicolettera) smiles in greeting to the guard but says nothing...she just slips a pouch of coins into his hand and nods as she continues walking.

[12:15] Sadie Hiker (magentastormcrow): so this is how the other half lives huh... sorry Kitty.. ah seen bigah...

[12:16] Nicolette Charpentier (nicolettera) smiles seeing the crate hidden in the bushes exactly where it ought to be..."Come Mademoiselle you must help me to open it...mais...avez soin...il est dangereaux

[12:16] Sadie Hiker (magentastormcrow) nods "Gotchya"

[12:17] Sadie Hiker (magentastormcrow) frowns "What in the..."

[12:18] Nicolette Charpentier (nicolettera) pulls up her skirts and unties the pouch she had concealed around her waist and hands a small pry bar to sadie as she moves to the font of the crate and holds up the chicken she had butchered earlier to lure Samson out

[12:20] Sadie Hiker (magentastormcrow) laughs and shakes her head seeing samson

[12:21] Nicolette Charpentier (nicolettera) dangles the chicken nervously and uses it to lure Samson toward the pool and tosses the chicken into the water and runs as Samson dives in after it.

[12:25] Sadie Hiker (magentastormcrow) can't stop grinning "This is just perfect... ah mean... we got 'Gator's back home... " looks to Samson "Well, y'likes chicken... how bout' kitties?"

[12:26] Nicolette Charpentier (nicolettera) giggles at Sadie..."You would be surprised Mademoiselle at the things a teacher may get her hands upon in the name of the research..."

[12:27] Nicolette Charpentier (nicolettera): but come...let us go before we are seen

[12:27] Sadie Hiker (magentastormcrow) laughs "Oh ah shall keep that in mind Mademoiselle... Ohe he's just luvvin' his new home..."

[12:28] Sadie Hiker (magentastormcrow) nods "That's a gud idea..."

[12:28] Nicolette Charpentier (nicolettera) smiles..."I have no doubt that he will be comfortable...and well fed in the care of the Governor."

[12:29] Nicolette Charpentier (nicolettera) gives the guard a little kiss on the cheek as she passes and heads back toward town with a look back over her shoulder and flirty wink."

Some time later...

[12:56] Jackson Menkes: hello darlin *he smiles as he checks his pistols and puts them away* thought I heard someone back near the pool

[12:57] KittyDoxie smiles lovingly at him, " was coming to make sure all was right for the party." Spots something moving I pause and look closer

[13:07] Jackson Menkes: but, ah yes, the preparations for the barbecue have been wonderful, isn't it glorious

[13:10] KittyDoxie: everything looks fantastic dear

[13:10] Jackson Menkes: ah the flags, just look wonderful don't they

[13:10] KittyDoxie looks into the pool

[13:10] Jackson Menkes: and the pool, finally some folks will be able to take a break from the heat

[13:10] KittyDoxie: "AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" I scream loud and faint onto the lounge chair

[13:10] Jackson Menkes looks down at the ripples of the water, noticing one in particular, "WHAT IN SAM HELL"

[13:12] Jackson Menkes pulls both his guns as he sees a dark shape move through the water, then hide on the side of the pool, what looks to be about an 8 foot gator

[13:12] Ivory Peacemaker (Left Handed) 2.3: Jackson Menkes has drawn a weapon!

[13:12] Ivory Peacemaker (Right Handed) 2.7: Jackson Menkes has drawn a weapon!

[13:12] Jackson Menkes: "Miss Kitty? Are you alright?" holds his guns on the pool

[13:13] KittyDoxie i come to, breathing heavy, "what is that!!" points at the pool

[13:13] Jackson Menkes fires 8 shots at the moving beast in the water, "Die ya som'bitch!"

[13:14] Jackson Menkes: damn, the bullets can't cut through the water

[13:14] KittyDoxie holds my hands over my ears

[13:14] Ivory Peacemaker (Left Handed) 2.3: Jackson Menkes has holstered their weapon!

[13:14] Ivory Peacemaker (Right Handed) 2.7: Jackson Menkes has holstered their weapon!

[13:14] Jackson Menkes: one moment, this will require I...go after him

[13:15] KittyDoxie wonders what he is planning

[13:16] KittyDoxie the animal spots me and swims to the surface, chomping his teeth, "Governor!"

[13:16] Jackson Menkes gets out one of his larger knives, and hearing Kitty screaming runs back to the pool

[13:17] Jackson Menkes runs past kitty and lunges into the pool, the knife held behind his back as he barely misses a snarling chomp by the alligator

[13:18] KittyDoxie sees him plunge into the pool I gasp, "NO!"

[13:19] Jackson Menkes wraps his arm around the mid section of the alligator, feeling the powerful snap of his body as it begins turnging toward him, jackson knowing his leg is exposed, he quickly pulls himself along side the beast, a gash from the teeth of the beast somehow appearing on his leg

[13:20] KittyDoxie: AHHH

[13:21] Jackson Menkes holds onto the beast tight, the claw of its foreleg tearing into his back as he pulls the knife around, the animal thrashing powerfully

[13:21] KittyDoxie seeing hte blood in the pool I faint again

[13:22] Jackson Menkes finally brings the knife around the front of him and finally jabs the beast through the midsection, crudely sliding the knife down the belly of the beast like a piece of taxidermi

[13:24] Jackson Menkes watches as the pool fills with the blood of the beast, it's mad thrashing intensifies as he stabs the beast, but weakens slowly, he just holds on

[13:25] KittyDoxie slowly coming too i flutter my eyes open and am in immediate shock, seeing all the blood, terrified the animal killed my governor

[13:25] Jackson Menkes feels the last of the life shake out of the gator with one last thrash, he pushes the knife deeper and feels the animal expire

[13:27] Jackson Menkes rushes out of the pool, checking on miss Kitty "Are you ok?" he says breathlessly, the pain of the gash on his leg becoming apparent

[13:28] KittyDoxie relieved he is alive , i reach up to him with a smile. "i...i think I am alright." looking him up and down I inspect him and see his leg is hurt

[13:29] KittyDoxie: are you alright? Your leg?"

[13:33] Jackson Menkes: yea he got me a bit *shakes his head as he sits down, a bit light headed, then looks at the gator in the pool, dead* but I got him worse

[13:33] KittyDoxie: should I have the maid get the Doctor?

[13:34] KittyDoxie looks to the pool, "how will we ever get this cleaned up for the party?"

[13:35] Jackson Menkes: I'll just wrap it up, Doc. Conway should be by later

[13:35] KittyDoxie nods but knows he should see him now

[13:36] Jackson Menkes nods to her, "go get some of the sheets from the cubberd, we'll need to get some pressure on this, though it missed everything critical I think

[13:37] KittyDoxie "yes of course." I run inside yelling for the maids to hurry and bring me sheet and warm water. "Mary run girl, gather some sheets! Faster girl, your master is injured! John we need warm water now, put some on to boil!"

[13:38] KittyDoxie: impatient with mary's slow pace, I push her out of the way, causing her to stumble down the stairs, "Get up girl!" Rushing to the cabinets I grab a stack of clean linens and run back down, throwing them at the maid. "Take the outside!" I rush to the kitchen to check on that water. "John!"

[13:40] KittyDoxie: nodding at john I see the water is ready and point to the pool area. I follow them back out

[13:42] Jackson Menkes lays back on the lounger, propping up his leg which is still bleeding liberally

[13:43] KittyDoxie snatching a sheet from the maid I screech at her to tear them into strips and us the one i am holding to press hard against his wound

[13:48] KittyDoxie kneeling beside him I press hard and smile at him reassuringly
